Tinkerama's Masterclass on Spy Codes

Sunday, 21st February, 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.

In this workshop on spy codes, students learnt about the Caesar Cipher.

Our aim was to help kids understand that they could encrypt their own messages, and even come up with a secret language.

The Masterclass started with a brief history of how spies used the Caesar Cipher to send secret messages. Kids then explored myriad ways to code their messages and created their very own secret language at the end of the class.
