What's inside the box?
What’s in the box is the beginning of your journey towards creative confidence!
In this journey, we will try many new things together. Some may work on the first try, some may not. Stick with it till it works!
As I like to say, “Tough is where the fun is” Let’s begin!
Module 1: Try it!
“The secret of getting ahead is getting started. “
– Mark Twain

So let’s get started! Watch the video and try making a fan! Make your own propeller with an ice-cream stick and see what happens! Let us know what you observe. Remember to add a picture of your circuit so we can help out!
Let's Review
We made a fan with a motor! How does a motor work? Let’s look at the next module, Learn it.
Module 2: Learn it!
“For the things we have to learn before we can do them, we learn by doing them.” ― Aristotle
Let’s look at the workbook and complete the challenges on it. Let’s also learn how motors work.
Let's Review
The motor works because of electricity and magnetism and when you put a propeller on it, it works like a fan! How can we use this information to make a fun project? Let’s move on to the next module to find out!
If you have any questions let us know by clicking the button below, and filling out the google form!
Module 3: Make it!
You have a really cool art bot in the box for this activity. Get your materials ready and begin making this super fun bot that doodles on paper! Tinker with the balance and weights to see all the different patterns that you can make your bot draw.
Use whatever materials you’re comfortable or happy using for decoration be it color pencils, brush pens, paints or crayons!

Tinkering Prompt
When you make one project, usually ideas start flying! Take a note of these ideas in a notebook, and be ready to innovate your designs!
Here are some questions you can try to answer.
– How will you make this project better?
– If you could do it again, how would you do it differently?
Module 4: Innovate it!
Make your own moving robot. Come up with your own design, and try building it with the motor assembly provided. What all materials can you think of using? TP rolls, cardboard boxes, foam sheets, cereal boxes, everything is game when building a bot!
Bring your artsy side to make the bot look like an insect, a futuristic robot, or a funny new kind of animal. As always, this section is about you and your ideas. Bring it to life!
Watch the video for inspiration ideas, and how-to instructions.
